This luxury two bed air conditioned apartment is situated in a prime location right on the Playa Burriana. It is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the sea, sand and sports. It is very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated throughout with large terraces overlooking wonderful views of the sea and mountains. It stands just across a small road from the beach where there are several little restaurants. The centre of Nerja is approximately one kilometre away and can be easily reached by bus or along the beach top path. The apartment has two bedrooms plus lounge/dining room with TV and Wi-fi, kitchen with cooker/oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, 2 bathrooms with WC, bath and shower. The apartment has own iron and linen and towels. Patio doors from the lounge go on to large terrace with sun beds, table and chairs, lovely plants and shrubs, covered shaded area and aswell as south facing sunshine all day long.


Please note the apartment has a meter for the whole of the electrics. There will be a credit put on of 20 euro  per week. Please also note that the wi fi is pay as you go at around 14 euros per week.

Excellent apartment. Perfect location with great beach and sea views and near lots of restaurants on the beach less than a minute away. The terrace is very big and gets the sun from early morning until late evening and has a shower. Main Nerja town is about 15 mins walk or a €7 taxi ride. Would book again

Beautiful apartment – spacious – across from the beach – low noise from outside in evenings – air conditioned – all equipped for the kitchen area if required – couldn’t fault at all. Shall be using Gill Johnson again, just as we have had for last few years.

Both apartments were perfect and frontline Beach which is what we required. Jackie and Mark were very accommodating and friendly and arranged our luggage storage and taxi on our last day. This is our 4th booking with Gill and we would definitely use the company again in the future.

We have been numerous time to Nerja and have stayed in various villas and apartments over the year’s ran through Gill Johnson Holiday Villas, this apartment again was great.

The apartment was as described, in a great location near the beach, is large, airy, spacious and well equipped and well looked after. It also has the advantage of a superb terrace which in June had the sun from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 pm.

We also had the luxury of an underground car parking space. Mark the representative met us at our agreed time and was most helpful with any questions we asked.

I would thoroughly recommend this apartment for a great stay in Nerja and would like to return to this apartment in the future.

Location Information

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing. However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.
