Fantastic villa in a quiet location just a short walk to the beach with some fantastic places to eat especially Sinbad’s. The goat’s cheese salad was a work of art.
The villa was well equipped, and very clean and the welcome pack was just what we needed.
Had a fantastic 10 days relaxing by the pool with the occasional venture out to Marbella and Fuengirola. The old town of Marbella is not to be missed and also the Monday market.
The only thing that was missing was information on bus routes and timetables (especially directions for the bus stop near the villa) and a local taxi firm, as we didn’t hire a car.
The weather was fantastic and would definitely stay here again.

What can I say, what a beautiful villa in a fantastic location with all the amenities you could wish for. I believe the online pictures do not do the villa justice. The recent décor upgrades only add to a wonderful experience.
Both my wife and her friends were quite taken aback with the villa and the wonderful (and plentiful) champagne buffet which Maggie provided upon their arrival. Maggie was also very kind enough to arrange a taxi for some of the girls for their return to the airport following their stay.

As for me, when I arrived on Monday with our children, I could not have asked for anything more. My wife was truly happy that everything had ran smoothly (she does like to worry) and it was far more than we had anticipated. The pool, surrounding area and spacious villa only served to increase our stay. I’m a big believer in the detail, and the pack provided with restaurants etc.. was very valuable and we took the opportunity to eat at the ‘Family Inn’ upon your recommendation. And found it to be both reasonably priced and of a good standard of food and service.

Once again, my sincere thanks for all the help throughout, and this has most definitely changed the way we will holiday in future.

Our 5th stay at Villa Patate and yet another fabulous holiday. The villa is extremely well equipped with everything you might possibly need (including British TV for my mum-in-law!) and has been updated since our last stay, including new bathrooms and new bedroom furniture amongst several other improvements. The garden and pool area is always a delight with several different areas of sun and shade to please everyone. Truly a home from home and one of our favourite places to go on holiday. One other lovely touch is the welcome pack waiting in the fridge, always appreciated after the long journey to get there.

Our party of 7 all thought the villa was lovely and exceeded our expectations. We were met on arrival and shown round the villa which was really helpful and meant the arrival was hassle free. The size of the villa and the gardens where great and the facilities and appliances provided meant we really felt at home. Food and drink were also left in the fridge for us which was greatly appreciated, especially as we arrived at the villa quite late so meant we did not have do a supermarket run until the next day!

I would recommend this villa for all ages, groups of friends or families, and would definitely consider returning.

We did try to follow the directions, but got totally losted, we called Maggie and she came out in her car to find us. We were only around the corner, but there’s no way we would have found the villa without Maggie’s help, so a huge thank you to her for her kindness.

The whole family thought the villas was large and spacious, and the garden with all it’s different areas for sunbathing was really nice. The décor inside the villa was nice and the kitchen provided everything that you needed, even though we didn’t use the kitchen much. The food that was provided in the fridge was a really nice touch, thank you. The bedrooms were spacious, bathrooms clean and it was good to have plenty of towels.

The village Inn was very welcoming and we had a number of meals there. The owner was so nice and friendly, the food pleased everybody, and it was so convenient being only round the corner from the villa.

We also walked to Alberts along the motorway, which was a bit scary to be honest, especially after a few drinks! We didn’t have food at Alterts, as my daughter was wearing shorts and a bikini top, and they asked her to put a t-shirt on, which she didn’t have so we left. But we had a fantastic time in the first beach bar, can’t remember the name of it, but as we arrived, happy hour was starting, and Elvis hit the stage for a few hours. It was really good entertainment and we all had a laugh.

You have such a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful gardens, I have a few comments that I think would benefit your villa, these are by no means criticism, only my personal thoughts.
1. Next to the pool, there were a number of punctured water toys left by others, they served no purpose.
2. The long window above the beds in the twin bedroom upstairs needs repair, as the noise from the traffic and people talking outside was crystal clear.

Had a fab holiday thanks and look forward to our next visit.

We found the villa extremely spacious and comfortable and definitely the best equipped holiday house I have ever stayed in! No adverse comments at all, we didn't have any breakages and all members of our mixed age group much enjoyed the lovely pool and the table tennis. One or two of us who did the cooking thought it might have been handy to have a manual for the cooker to refer to as the symbols were a bit hard to read - but that's really quibbling!!

Lovely villa,very spacious,great holiday,very relaxing had all our meals outside which was wonderful (good eating places around the area though which we also enjoyed) although we did think it was somewhere that you needed a car.
Maggie & Courtney were very helpful and we did suggest that maybe they put a trolley on wheels in the villa for people to use when walking to the supermarket to carry heavy things such as the essentials water and beers!!! Thanks once again for a lovely holiday and yes hopefully we will be going somewhere again next year,perhaps a bit earlier when it is'nt quite as hot. Many thanks for the use of your fabulous villa.

This villa is in a very safe and secure location at the top of the Urbanizacion. A few trees surround the property but do not block the light as they have been trimmed back. Even though the villa is close to the dual carriageway there is little or no traffic noise.
The villa is bright, clean and spacious. The sofas and armchairs in the living area are comfortable and all the beds are large and very comfortable.
The garden is out of this world and it’s just a question of following the sun to the loungers which are cleverly placed to catch the rays all day. There are also ample shady areas if the sun becomes too much! There are also spacious sun terraces up the outside staircase.
The covered-in dining area outside is wonderful and we listened to the birdsong and watched the butterflies chase each other as we had our food and drinks.
Nearby are some good local restaurants, El Cortijo being our favourite, great food, great prices!
The supermarket is a short walk away and another bigger supermarket a short drive by car.
All in all this was a real home from home experience, a 5 star villa!

What can I say that my family haven't said already. Villa PATATE is a wonderful place and we all had an absolutely outstanding holiday, from the moment we arrived and were met by Gill and Pat, until the time came for us to leave. Everything was organized, the highlight is obviously the pool and credit for the pool and garden maintenance must go to Leo, he is an absolute gem, he was so polite and worked so hard to help us enjoy the whole experience we hardly knew that he was there but the pool was always clean and in top order. Yes we will recommend you to friends and colleagues and will certainly have no hesitation in booking with you again.

Blissful family holiday

We loved our week-long stay at the beautiful Villa Patate. A great, spacious, comfortable villa with a lovely (deep) pool and lots of outdoor space, patio and terrace. We loved sitting out on the patio enjoying relaxing meals and lounging by the pool in the sunshine. The villa, location and facilities were exactly as described. The information pack was very useful and the welcome pack of beer, water, bread etc was much appreciated. We also loved exploring the local bars and restaurants of Elviria and Cabopino (there are loads nearby) as well as the beach bars (particularly Le Papillon!). I would highly recommend this villa for families and/or groups of friends. We would definitely stay again. Loved it!

The location excellent. Lovely welcome, all details explained, a welcome pack. Villa had everything we needed for our stay - very clean and spacious, plenty of room in and outside for everyone, two terraces on roof, everyone had enough room to find their own space. Pool was amazing, spent many hours there - deep in some parts. Had breakfast out in garden area daily.

Local supermarkets with easy walking distance - with delicious bakery, which we used daily.

Restaurants- Simbads on the beach in walking distance so everyone could drink the local wine, fantastic choice local fish, live music and very welcoming. Went to The 2gether restaurant good food and welcome.

Walked to Marbella campsite- good value for money - pizzas delicious, also had a supermarket that had a butchery with so many different cuts of meat for the BBQ.

Went to Marbella market- amazing- selling all sorts. Got taxi there and back €20.00 each way

Cabin beach- restaurants, toilets, water activities such as jetskis paddle boards etc. Sunbed umbrellas €6.00 each per day

We walked to local supermarket and got taxi from there, arrived quickly each time. Taxi from airport had issues finding villa and they had the instructions given to us.
