Very pleased with accommodation, location excellent for all amenities in Nerja. Lovely little Town. The accommodation had everything the intinery quoted. The only thing I felt was missing is a dressing table with stool in at least one of the bedrooms. Struggled to do hair each evening. Would definitely book this accommodation if returning to Nerja.

The apartment was fantastic, location, cleanliness, equipment, roof top pool etc all first class. The only negative point was the air conditioning. During the night it did not cool the apartment sufficiently with temperatures generally sitting at 25oC. We did try and alter the controls however this was fixed. I'm sure it is perfect when not in the high season, however this made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

Transfer service from and to airport was perfect.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the fantastic apartment that we had the pleasure of renting from yourselves. Not only was it immaculately clean and modern but also child friendly too. This was my main concern as we were travelling with our two young children. The electronic window shutters were a fantastic bonus in terms of safety/security for the kids.

The extra sofa bed that you provided upon request was fantastic – and good quality.

Everything a family needed was in the apartment from fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle to washing machine, and dishwasher.

The rooftop pool was very clean. The only thing we could find fault in was that the water was very cold and we weren’t sure if the pool could be heated.

We did need assistance with opening the Safety Deposit Box which was in the bedroom. We contacted the number on the information provided. Jose kindly came to our apartment promptly and sorted it out for us.

We can honestly say that this was a fantastic find and would love to come back again. Our extended family who were also staying in Nerja were very impressed and had said they would also like to stay there at some point in the future.

If I was to make any suggestions to it would be that the agent provides a little bit more information on where the local supermarkets are. As we had young children with us we needed to get access to fresh milk – which we discovered was not particularly easy.

Hence that we did find a large supermarket after walking for sometime and got what we needed. Directions would have been very useful. Asides from that we could not fault this apartment.

A table on the balcony for outside dining would be good.

Location Information

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing. However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.
